Decknics Privacy Policy
Effective Date: June 19, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Decknics LLC (“Decknics,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, stores, and protects information when you use Decknics websites, apps, accounts, downloads, licenses, support, and products including Live Requests, Decknics Scratch, and Crate to Crate.
1. Information We Collect
We collect information you provide directly, such as your name, email address, account login details, product selections, event setup information, support messages, and information needed to provide downloads, licenses, subscriptions, and product access.
For Live Requests, performers may create events and configure request options. Audience members may submit names, song requests, comments, tip-related status, and other request information depending on the event settings chosen by the performer.
The Decknics Live Requests iOS app may let you enter basic event setup information, such as event name and performer name, and continue setup through the Decknics Live Requests web app.
2. Payments and Billing
Decknics uses third-party payment providers such as Stripe to process payments, subscriptions, receipts, trials, and billing actions. Decknics does not store full credit card numbers on our own servers.
Payment providers may collect and process billing details according to their own privacy policies and terms.
3. How We Use Information
We use information to provide and operate Decknics products, create and manage accounts, process purchases, deliver downloads and licenses, run Live Requests events, provide support, send product, billing, trial, renewal, setup, and security notices, improve product reliability, prevent abuse, and comply with legal obligations.
4. Service Providers
We may use trusted service providers for hosting, authentication, databases, email delivery, payment processing, analytics, storage, app distribution, and security. These providers may process information only as needed to provide their services to Decknics.
Examples may include Cloudflare, Firebase/Google, Stripe, email providers, Apple, and other services used to operate Decknics products.
5. Sharing Information
We do not sell personal information. We may share information with service providers, when required by law, to protect Decknics, customers, users, or the public, to prevent fraud or abuse, or as part of a business transfer such as a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.
6. Live Requests Event Data
Live Requests event data may be visible to the performer or account holder who created the event. This can include request names, requested songs, comments, timestamps, event history, analytics, and related request activity.
Audience members should only submit information they are comfortable sharing with the event performer.
7. Cookies, Local Storage, and Device Information
Decknics websites and web apps may use cookies, local storage, browser storage, and similar technologies to keep users signed in, remember cart and account state, support app functionality, improve reliability, and protect against abuse.
We may also collect basic technical information such as browser type, device type, pages visited, error logs, IP address, and approximate region for security, diagnostics, and product operation.
8. Email Communications
We may send transactional emails such as verification emails, receipts, license information, setup notices, renewal notices, trial notices, support replies, and security notices. You may also receive product updates if you choose to receive them.
9. Data Retention
We keep information for as long as needed to provide products, maintain accounts, support purchases and licenses, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, improve reliability, and enforce agreements. Retention periods may vary depending on the type of information and product involved.
10. Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information. No internet service, website, app, or storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
11. Children
Decknics products are not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us so we can review and delete it where appropriate.
